Backyard Netball League Australia is a proud sporting partner of Backyard Football League Australia

Welcome to Backyard Netball League Australia. We are a proud volunteer organisation encouraging participation in netball at all levels. Backyard Netball is an organisation that offers an opportunity for netballers originating from the country, to continue representing their home area whilst being based in the city. Booborowie Bears take the title!

Backyard Netball League Australia would like to sincerely thank the Hotel Metropolitan for their support throughout our initial season in 2009.

The Booborowie Bears finished off a dominant season, taking out the first ever Backyard Netball League Australia title. Players were treated to an exciting finals series, with matches taking place on the main ETSA Park Arena, the home of the Adelaide Thunderbirds. The Eyre Peninsula Eagles overcame some early setbacks in the season to finish as runners up. To cap off the grand final night, players were treated to some fine Mid North Beef via the barbeque.

2010 Registrations Now Open!

After the success of the initial season, players are now welcome to register for the 2010 season. We are always looking to expand and everyone is welcome. Over 120 players participated in the 2009 season and we are looking to expand in 2010. Participants have come from the Far West to the South East and interstaters are also most welcome.
