Backyard Netball League Australia

Welcome to Backyard Netball League Australia. We are a proud volunteer organisation encouraging participation in netball at all levels. Backyard Netball offers an opportunity for netballers originating from the country, to continue representing their home area whilst being based in the city.

Whilst season 2010 has commenced, it's not too late to join in. Matches are still held every Thursday night at ETSA Park with players normally arriving at 7pm for a 7:30pm start. We have been happy to welcome many new players this season, with new areas represented, spreading our footprint across rural South Australia.

Backyard Netball is a great opportunity for girls moving to the City to join up for a solid game of Netball and in the process meet people from all over the State in a relaxed informal country sport environment.
There are no grading nights, no training nights – its just come and play on Thursday Nights.
You can nominate as a Team of nine players – or nominate as an individual who is happy having a game of netball.
Further you can nominate as a regular weekly player or as a fill-in depending on your commitments.
Its about having fun and meeting people through Netball.
Annabel Homer, ABC Country Hour even managed a game last year.
Backyard Netball is particularly aimed at girls who might not be able to commit the time to club based netball in the City due to University contact time, part time work commitments and just getting used to living in Adelaide.
